WHO AM I? A COPYWRITER AND CONSULTANT WITH A CUSTOMER FOCUSED APPROACH.
I’m Sean Romanoff and I’m a freelance copywriter from Maplewood, New Jersey. I believe in writing that’s clear, simple, and genuine – like a real person. By writing like a real person I create copy that uses your voice to talk to your customers or clients.
WRITING HAS ALWAYS BEEN AN IMPORTANT PART OF MY LIFE.
In fact, it seemed clear that I would be a writer when I was an award winning sports writer and editor for an acclaimed high school newspaper. But as often happens, I got sidetracked along the way.
Somehow I ended up a lawyer instead. Luckily I liked the writing part of the job and that got me pointed back in the right direction.
A few years later, I managed to use my law degree and my interest in writing to wrangle a part-time position teaching college composition and business communication which I still enjoy doing today. That finally awakened my feelings about writing that had been mostly percolating under the surface since high school. Shortly after that I started a staff writing job with a nonprofit, ThirdPath, Inc. And after working for some time in that job, I started my own writing and consulting business.
WHAT DO I DO TODAY?
Fortunately my business continued to grow and in addition to my work with ThirdPath I’ve worked with and continue to count as clients, The David Henry Agency, NetLZ, Fahoury Ink, Seton Hall University Law School, Kevin Muench DDS, Stories In Motion, Wenlipodge Feel Good Furniture & Art, and Romanoff’s Classic Tuxedos.
